Where do I start. From the moment we pulled into the Montenotte to the moment we left we felt like royalty! Bags were taken from us as we walked into the hotel. Staff were all so friendly. We were greeted my the most amazing hotel manager Danielle she went above and beyond for our stay 🫶🏻 then let us know that our Woodland Suite was available to get checked into as we were a little early we were surprised as not many places let you check in before your given time. We were then taken on a buggy to the clubhouse to get checked in. A nice glass of champagne was given to us both which was a touch of class. We were brought to the suite by Danielle and my oh my was it out of this world 😍 from the biggest bed to the bath overlooking trees and cork city. What a view. To cocktails at sunset in the clubhouse by the lovely Sean. Nothing was too much hassle and also looked like he loved his job too. Drinks the the glasshouse were fab. Then dinner was really enjoyable. We then decided to go back to the suite where they did turn down service lavender on pillows a book to read and a candle lit beside the bath. We had the best nights sleep with breakfast at the clubhouse in the morning the breakfast was insane and the lady that served us was so nice too. Martin popped in to say hello and check in as he had done the evening before which is so nice. Danielle greeted us and we had a chat and then we checked out of the woodland suite. What an amazing experience from start to finish. I didn’t catch some of the other staff names but they are a credit to the hotel. I’m missing it already And if you have a chance and pay a little extra for the woodland suite you’ll not be disappointed 5 stars 🌟 Rebecca

- Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always looking for ways to help and would greet us every time we walked passed. - Great facilities, with plenty of comfy space to relax. - The restaurant was excellent, with a great standard and superb quality. - They have an additional cosy bar which was great to relax at in the evenings and also had some live music - Wonderful views across Cork, both from the bar and restaurant and also from the rooms. - Health club - great gym, large pool which was a good temperature suitable temperature for swimming. Hot tub was also kept at a great temperature. Sauna and steam room also available. The health club as a whole is clean and really well maintained. - Lovely rooms, spacious with good storage space for a long weekend, comfy beds, great water pressure - and kept very clean by the housekeeping team. Our room was also restocked daily with teas, biscuits, etc - The bottles of water supplied in the room are environmentally friendly bottles which is a nice touch. - Additionally to this the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are all in reusable bottles. - Good breakfast with plenty of self service and menu options, with made to order coffees. - Location - the hotel is along a hill looking over Cork, away from the business city centre. It took us no more than about 20 - 30 min to walk from the hotel into Cork city centre. - We did not drive, but plenty of parking is also available.

I booked through booking.com but find it cheaper to book direct got the room with breakfast for a lot cheaper when I cancelled booking and checking in I was told I had two rooms had to pay the booking price and lost out on the cheaper price with breakfast in total a loss of 97 euro so I paid the booking price as per their request even showing the cancellation email from booking.com that was my only issue fantastic hotel beautiful views amazing bar with the terrace and their conserige Ken is a gentleman who knows his stuff as a former hotel duty manager I was well impressed with the property and staff but reception let me down

breakfast was not great compared to Silversprings or Radisson, i am a business traveller who travels to Cork at least twice a month and usually stay at Radisson little Island as the have a great loyalty scheme and great benefits for frequent stayers like executive rooms, early and late check out.. I thought your hotel was beautiful and staff brilliant especially the youg lads in teh bar and reception were very professoinal.. the full irish was not good and tasteless to be honest... that is easy to fix for you guys, the bamburys had the food soggy and it was not topped up so taking the scraps.

Booked 1 bedroom apt to be near relatives living in the area. Convenient, quiet location with beautiful views of city. Short walk to St Luke’s Cross for coffee, small grocery store, pub, restaurants. Approx 15 minute walk into city (uphill on return). Apartment well-appointed with sitting area separate from bedroom and full kitchen (including washer-dryer). Enjoyed use of health club. All facilities clean and well cared for; staff willing to go extra mile.
